Costa Rica FA president Rodolfo Villalobos has warned Actual Madrid they’d be making a mistake in the event that they have been to switch goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Navas joined Madrid from Levante after impressing for Costa Rica on the 2014 World Cup and the 30-year-old has helped the membership to back-to-back Champions League triumphs in addition to final season’s La Liga title.
Even so, Madrid have been persistently linked with different keepers, most notably Manchester United’s David De Gea, who got here near swapping golf equipment with Navas in 2015.
Villalobos informed Marca: “I feel that Navas has been surrounded by rumours ever since he arrived at Actual Madrid.
“At Actual Madrid he has been a basic a part of the titles the membership has received.
“He has demonstrated that he deserves to be at Actual Madrid.
“If Navas have been to go away, Actual Madrid would lose greater than he would. He’s writing his personal story at Actual Madrid and we hope that he stays there for a few years.”
